This week we want to discuss on building health. You can think of health as a bank account. A lot of people go into their health account and continue withdrawing and withdrawing. And that is a symptomatic way of looking at things; once you have a symptom, you go ahead and withdraw from your health account instead of being more proactive and start building your health.
What are some of the ways that you can build your health? A lot people will say eating healthy and exercising. Those are the most obvious ways that you can do that. Some people as far as stress reduction will do pilates and yoga. A lot of people miss the other part of health. What actually controls your body and its ability to function is your brain, spinal chord, and nervous system. So, your brain, spinal chord, and nerve system control and coordinate all functions of your body, which means they will coordinate your immune system, your cardiovascular system, and your ability to function throughout the day. You would want to have a good nerve supply to all those organs; one way you can do that is through having regular chiropractic adjustments.
Building a bank account of health means that you’d be allowing the spine, the nerve channels of the spine, to stay freed up to all the organs, so you can have 100% of nerve flow to those organs.
So if you’re thinking of building health, it’s not just going to come from your insurance policy; it’s going to come from other things like eating right, exercising, and getting regular chiropractic check ups.
You are as old as your spine. People who have older spines, though they may just be 25, may act like they’re 60. So you want to prevent the spine from aging faster by getting chiropractic checkups to eliminate the nerve interference, so the brain can communicate to the rest of the body.
